New Baby Galperin
Last Friday, as we met for shabbat services, I joked that the Rabbi's son might end up being the first-born of 2015. The Rabbi couldn't imagine his wife holding on for that long - considering she was already overdue.
Well, it's too bad I didn't make a bet. On Thursday, the baby was finally born - and was the first of 2015.
The Shaarey Zedek website - Version 3.0
Welcome to our redesigned website. It represents the first update to the underlying structure in more than four years, and the third version overall.
It's been a long time coming, and some of the details still need to be ironed out, but for the most part, the redesign is complete. To summarize what's been done, I've moved the main menu above the content, instead of occupying the left side of the screen. This provides more room on the page for content, meaning that more information fits on the page without having to scroll. I've also increased the font size marginally, making it somewhat easier to read the screen.
Security has been enhanced with the upgrade to the latest version of the content management software, and most importantly, the website is now "mobile friendly". Visitors to our site who use a cell phone or tablet will have a much better experience than was possible before. There are still a couple of places where pages will need to be redesigned to accommodate mobile devices, but that will be done shortly.
I again want to thank my friend, Michael, for his monetary contribution to fund the final phase of the redesign. I couldn't have done it without his support.
